A couple weeks ago I set out on a rather epic bike ride with my friend, Dana. It was amazing and I can’t wait for a break in the rainy season to go do it again.

Part of the preparation of rice paddies is becoming a major environmental concern. After prepping the field, hay is lain out and burned to kill off any bugs in the soil. Smoke from farmers burning their land has become a more serious problem as the fires from Indonesia have been showing.
